    Job description

    Essential Job Functions

    • Receive, review, and process import documentation for an assigned base of accounts;
    • Obtain and process Customs release and other government agency releases as appropriate, arranging delivery, and invoicing the import accounts to their SOP;
    • Monitor transactions and notify supervisory personnel of any problem or irregularities;
    • Provide excellent and timely client service by informing the client of the status of their shipment(s);
    • Coordinate the release of goods from the carrier, customs or other governmental agency examinations that may be required.

    Other Skills & Abilities

    • Strong oral and written communication skills;
    • Must have excellent client service skills, responding promptly and professionally to client needs and requests for service and assistance;
    • Basic computer skills.

    Education and Experience

    • High School Diploma or GED;
    • Three to five years related experience.
