BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT OFFICER - CHIREDZI,HARARE & ZVISHAVANE

We seek to hire individuals to fill the position of Business Development Officer at our Harare branch. The incumbent will be reporting to the Senior Business Development Officer in building the company’s loan portfolio by disbursing and recovering loans.

Purpose of the Job

Acting as a liaison between clients and Crediconnect, assisting qualifying applicants obtain loans, setting up payment plans, and ensuring that loan repayment deadlines are met.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Receiving and processing loan applications.
• Disbursing loans to qualifying applicants and managing the loan portfolio.
• Preparing weekly, monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc reports.
• Assessing loan applications and ensuring that the security pledged is in order.
• Participating in developing growth strategies focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction.
• Participating in conducting research to identify new markets and customer needs.
• Promoting the company’s products and services by addressing or predicting clients’ objectives.
• Assisting branch administration in keeping records of receipts, purchases, and asset registers.
• Building long-term relationships with new and existing customers.
• Performing any other duties within the scope of the job.

Qualifications and Experience

• A degree in Banking and Finance or any other related field.
• A certificate in either microfinance, risk management, or credit management will be an added advantage.
• At least three years of proven experience in microfinance, one of which should be in a similar position.
• Proficiency in MS Office, written and oral communication.
