What You’ll Do

• Lead the enterprise Emergency Response and Business Continuity Program to ensure the organization is prepared for incidents, crises, and disasters
• Strengthen business continuity plans through annual reviews, documentation, testing, and updates across business units
• Guide leaders and subject matter experts in developing practical emergency plans, clear response criteria, and well-defined responder responsibilities
• Improve organizational readiness by designing, scheduling, and evaluating emergency management and recovery training for staff
• Drive continuous improvement by facilitating lessons-learned reviews, evaluating plan performance, and implementing recommended changes
• Maintain regulatory and organizational compliance through accurate records, management reporting, annual NCUA documentation, and program oversight
• Optimize program resources by evaluating cost-effectiveness and planning capital and annual budget requirements for emergency response systems, projects, and services

Experience:

    Required

• 3-7 years of proven, directly correlated experience
• 2-3 years of experience influencing others to action

Preferred

• Emergency lead role with a medium to large organization
• Financial organization experience

Skills & Knowledge:

    Required

• Good and Proven Decision-Making and Analytical Skills
• PC Skills (Excellent working knowledge of MS Windows, MS Office, Share Point)
• Software system administration skills
• Rudimentary experience in developing workflows (such as in Power Apps)
• Proven Influencer Skills
• Excellent listening, written and verbal communication skills

Preferred

• Robust software system administration skills
• Experience in use of NOGGIN

Education:

    Required

• BS degree in business administration or equivalent with a heavy dose of information systems / technology coursework in the curriculum

Preferred

• BA/BS degree in Business Continuity Management, Security & Emergency Management Response, or Systems Administration

Licenses & Certifications:

    Required

• Business continuity professional certification

Preferred

• • Associate of Emergency Management (AEM) certification, or equivalent

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30 am-5:30 pm

Compensation Details:

Paygrade: 2CF

The expected pay range for this position is $94,764 – $96,195 annually.

Job Location: This position is onsite based in San Antonio, TX.
