Crimson AI - DevOps Engineer

About the role:

• Working closely with the engineering team to understand and support the infra operations
• Improve on the existing infrastructure processes of our entire product lineup
• End to end support for the product deployment, maintenance, monitoring and uptime strategies
• Setting up complete CI/CD foundations for the micro-services and code repositories
• Come up with suggestions proactively to optimise solutions being created both from performance and cost perspective
• Site reliability for our products will be the key responsible area
• We have 100+ servers, managed services, a few million events getting processed everyday on the AI/ML products

Requirements:

• Strong with Linux commands and tools
• Must have expertise or comfortable with the following AWS Services: API Gateway, Load Balancer configuration, Target Groups, VPN, Routing table management
• Other AWS services exposure are good to have
• Experience with Jenkins, Git Pipelines, Ansible
• Previously setting up detailed system monitoring, distributed tracing, logging, alerting systems

Good to have:

• Startup experience
• AWS Exposure for at least 2 years. 5+ years is even better
• Someone curious enough to have tried a lot of DevOps tools
• Hashicorp stack exposure
• Having interest or exposure to Infrastructure as Code tools. We are moving towards it
