As we deliver our ambitious 2030 Growth Strategy, we’re looking a Lab Support Technician to join our Manufacturing team.

You will be responsible for safely performing all duties associated with the operational aspect of production, including but not limited to the charging of raw materials, the operation of vessels, executing the procedures and techniques associated with bulk organic synthesis, biochemical processing and purification of pharmaceutical products. All work is done with compliance to Safety, Health and Environmental guidelines, government regulations, cGMP manufacturing and process procedures.

Accountable for providing day-to-day operational support to the Croda Alabaster Research Manufacturing team in the laboratory.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Distribute solvents and bulk raw materials

• Perform upkeep on manufacturing equipment

• Perform packing and tearing down of chromatography columns

• Perform labware cleaning

• Perform facility cleaning

• Compressed gas cylinder replacement

• Transfer laboratory wastes to collection areas for disposal

• Maintain raw material inventory

• Log incoming/outgoing raw materials

• Perform upkeep of training records

• Lab supply stocking and management

• Comply with laboratory safety procedure

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Experience in a laboratory environment preferred

• Ability to maintain laboratory equipment

• Understand the importance of following safety procedures and the correct use of PPE

• Computer knowledge preferred

• Must have oral & written proficiency in the English language

• Proficiency in MS Office

• Attention to details, computer skills, work standards, teamwork

Additional Information:

This is an on-site position based at our Alabaster, Alabama location.

Physical Demands:

Ability to stand, walk, or sit for a minimum of 8 hours a day

Ability to lift 50 pounds
