As we deliver our ambitious 2030 Growth Strategy, we’re looking for a Maintenance Planner is responsible for developing detailed maintenance work plans that enable safe, efficient, and cost-effective execution of maintenance activities. This role acts as a critical link between operations, maintenance, engineering, and stores personnel to ensure work is properly scoped, planned, resourced, and scheduled before execution. The Maintenance Planner focuses on proactive maintenance planning to maximize workforce productivity, and support overall plant performance.

Key Responsibilities
-Work Planning
Review and prioritize maintenance work requests.
Develop detailed job plans for preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities.
Define labor requirements, skill sets, tools, equipment, permits, and materials needed to complete work.
Create work packages including procedures, drawings, manuals, safety requirements, and parts.
Estimate labor hours and resource requirements for planned work.
-Scheduling Support
Coordinate with operations and maintenance supervisors to establish weekly and daily schedules.
Ensure work is planned and ready before being assigned for execution.
Maintain a backlog of planned and approved work orders.
Support shutdowns, outages, and daily planning activities.
-Materials and Resource Coordination
Identify required spare parts and materials.
Coordinate with procurement and warehouse teams to ensure parts availability before scheduled work.
Verify equipment, contractor, and specialized tool requirements.
-Reliability and Continuous Improvement
Analyze maintenance history and equipment performance data.
Recommend improvements to maintenance strategies and work processes.
Support preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
Participate in root cause failure investigations and reliability improvement initiatives.
-CMMS Management
Maintain accurate maintenance plans within the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
Ensure work orders contain complete planning information.
Update task lists, equipment records, and maintenance procedures.
Track planning and scheduling performance metrics.
-Safety and Compliance
Ensure planned work complies with company safety standards and regulatory requirements.
Incorporate lockout/tagout, confined space, hot work, and other safety requirements into work packages.
Support plant safety initiatives and continuous improvement efforts.

Qualifications
-Education
Associate degree, technical diploma, or equivalent experience in Mechanical, Electrical, Maintenance, or Industrial Technology.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field preferred.
-Experience
3-7 years of maintenance, operations, reliability, or planning experience in an industrial environment.
Experience with CMMS platforms such as SAP PM, Maximo, Infor EAM, or similar systems.
Experience in chemical, manufacturing, oil & gas, power generation, or related industries preferred.
-Technical Skills
Maintenance planning and scheduling.
Equipment maintenance practices.
Mechanical and electrical systems knowledge.
Blueprint and technical drawing interpretation.
Spare parts management.
Microsoft Excel, Word, and CMMS proficiency.
