Research Scientist, NPD (synthesis) Team

As we continue to deliver cutting-edge technology and new ideas, we are looking for a Research Scientist) to join our organisation to develop Consumer Care/Life Science active ingredient such as purified phospholipids and its derivatives and provide solution for problems in commercial scale production process, and also supporting sales and marketing about the ingredients.
Reporting into the Research and Technology Manager of our R&T, you will develop innovative process and products of Croda Consumer Care / Life Science ingredients and provide technical support to customers and sales teams, also communicate with other researchers around world in Croda.

Master’s degree in Lipid, Phospholipids, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biotechnology, or a related field.
Proven experience in lipid, peptide, extraction, purification, and analysis.
Technical knowledge of oil and lipid chemistry, data gathering and analysis, and capturing implication.
Strong communication and collaboration skills with internal and external stakeholders.
Option : if you have any production experience of scale up or dealing parameters, such experiences could be considered.

Develop active ingredient from lecithin or phospholipid and their derivatives by our core technologies or yours.
Optimize product quality and production process
Optimize or develop product for customer’s request shortly.
Provide technical support for internal or external requests.
Evaluate raw materials, product quality, stability, regulation compliance.
Collaborate with sales teams and global R&T teams to develop customer-focused solutions.
Identify market trends and translate them into innovative products.

Additional Information
This position will base in Bundang‑gu, Seongnam‑si, Gyeonggi‑do.

This role requires frequent business travel.
