Position Overview

• Provide occupational therapy services and interventions to K–12 students, supporting fine motor, sensory, functional, and school-related skills.
• Implement individualized therapy activities and strategies aligned with students’ educational and occupational therapy goals.
• Collaborate with occupational therapists, teachers, and school staff to monitor student progress and promote participation in the school environment.
• Maintain accurate documentation of services, student progress, and therapy-related activities in accordance with school and professional requirements.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
• Active Illinois Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) License
• Experience providing occupational therapy services in a school-based setting with K–12 students preferred
