ABOUT THE ROLE

Responsible for ensuring compliance with US GAAP, SOX, company policies, and debt agreements. Ensures the timely and accurate recognition of revenue and expense and the proper classification of financial statement transactions. Ensures the completeness and accuracy of balance sheet accounts and schedules used directly in SEC filings and other external and internal reporting. Critically reviews processes and identifies opportunities for enhancement.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies, procedures and controls
• Ensure an accurate and timely monthly accounting close
• Perform regular analysis and reconciliations of complex balance sheet accounts
• Prepare and record complex journal entries
• Prepare monthly and quarterly flux analysis commentary for assigned accounts
• Prepare complex schedules for direct use in external reporting and internal management reporting packages

• Assist with developing accounting processes for complex contracts and other transactions

• Review accruals for reasonableness and propose adjustments to management

• Identify and recommend process improvements and assist with their implementation

• Respond to inquiries from internal and external auditors

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED
Education Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting

• CPA and/or MBA a plus

Experience Qualifications

• Three (3) to Five (5) or more years of corporate experience; or public accounting experience

• Ability to organize work and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment

Where You Will Work: This role falls into our hybrid work model working in the office on Monday through Thursday.  On Fridays, teammates have the option to work from the office or home.  There is an expectation of collaboration with teammates and stakeholders for moments that matter that could require travel.

Compensation
The salary range offered for this position is $80000 - $110000 annually. A candidate's offer is determined by various factors including but not limited to, depth of experience, role-related knowledge and skills, relevant education or training, internal alignment, and work location. Depending on the position offered, the compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of a discretionary annual cash bonus or commissions, and equity incentives.
