    Job description

    Anticipated Start Date: 26 Aug 2026

    Hours Worked Per Week: 10 hours per week during M-T-W-R-F, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

    Job Definition - Registrar’s Office student workers support staff by performing routine duties and assisting with projects related to student data management and academic records.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • Support and Model the policies and standards of Crown College as stated in the Student Handbook and Crown Community Covenant.
    • Evidence of Christian character and a commitment to encourage others toward Christ-likeness.
    • Maintain a 2.0 cumulative GPA.
    • Must be in good standing with the college.
    • Previous experience with administrative work preferred.

    Responsibilities -

    • Maintain student electronic files and computer data with accuracy, efficiency, and confidentiality.
    • Scan & link
      • MDE forms
      • FERPA
      • Personal Information Updates
      • Digitizing hard copy documents
      • 30-day review Process student-related forms.
      • Process internet submissions
    • Student requests
      • Name/address changes
      • Transcript requests
      • Transcript transfer entry Assist with the day-to-day operations of the office
      • Courteous counter service
      • Professional phone communication
      • Email and print communications.
    • Assist with editing Academic Catalog.
    • Collaborate with Office of the Registrar staff in completing additional duties as needed.
      • Data cleanup
      • Research
      • Graduation duties

    Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

    • High attention to detail and accuracy in completing tasks.
    • Proficiency with basic computer applications, including email and word processing.
    • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
    • Interpersonal skills.
    • Strong customer service orientation with a friendly and helpful demeanor.
    • Maintain confidentiality regarding private student information.
    • Demonstrated dependability and punctuality.
    • Ability to manage time effectively and balance multiple responsibilities.
    • Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
    • Ability to work collaboratively and respectfully as part of a team.
    • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to respond appropriately to unexpected situations.
    • Professional demeanor, including appropriate appearance and conduct in the workplace.

    Physical Demands:

    • Ability to lift and carry loads of up to 4 pounds.
    • Ability to remain in a stationary position for extended periods while performing job duties.
