Job Summary**
CROWN Bevcan France SAS is seeking a skilled Front End Mechanic to perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair on a variety of machinery and equipment within our manufacturing facility, ensuring optimal operational efficiency and safety.
Job Responsibilities**
* Execute routine preventative maintenance on front-end production machinery, including but not limited to presses, scroll shears, and associated conveyors.
* Diagnose mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues in a timely and accurate manner.
* Repair or replace defective parts, components, and systems using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment.
* Perform adjustments and calibrations to machinery for optimal performance and product quality.
* Troubleshoot electrical and control systems related to mechanical functions.
* Adhere to all safety procedures and regulations, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) protocols.
* Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts used.
* Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime and optimize machine performance.
* Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and training programs.
* Assist with the installation and commissioning of new equipment as required.
Job Qualifications**
* Vocational diploma or equivalent in mechanical maintenance, industrial mechanics, or a related field.
* Proven experience as a Front End Mechanic or Industrial Maintenance Technician in a manufacturing environment, preferably within the packaging or metal forming industry.
* Strong understanding of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and basic electrical principles.
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
* Proficiency in using a variety of hand and power tools, as well as diagnostic equipment.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Strong commitment to safety and quality standards.
* Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
* Basic computer skills for documentation and communication.
