Temporary Payroll Administrator

We are looking for a Temporary Payroll Administrator to join our team at Crown in Wantage until 31st December 2026.

The UK Payroll is made up of manufacturing sites based across the UK. The payroll function is processed in house from start to finish, processing manufacturing payrolls and to assist with processing of any of the other payrolls as required.

This role will provide support with any other payroll task as required.

Key responsibilities and accountabilities:

• Accurate and timely input, processing and delivery of the monthly payrolls

• Manual calculations of Tax and NIC if required

• Calculation of Occupational Sickness and statutory payments

• Processing and payroll administration of the company pension scheme

Essential skills and experience: 

• Minimum of 1 year’s payroll experience

• Experience of high-volume multi-site payrolls

• Understanding of UK tax and NIC

• Understanding of pension Auto Enrolment

• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel

Desirable skills and experience: 

• Numerate

• Good eye for detail

• Team player
