Position Overview:

We are looking for a qualified and proactive Safety Officer to ensure a safe working environment across our project operations. The successful candidate will monitor compliance with HSE policies, conduct inspections, identify hazards, and support the implementation of effective safety procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor daily site activities to ensure compliance with HSE policies and procedures.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and identify potential hazards and unsafe practices.
• Prepare and maintain safety inspection reports, checklists, and incident records.
• Conduct toolbox talks and safety awareness sessions for employees and subcontractors.
• Ensure proper use of PPE and compliance with site safety requirements.
• Assist in risk assessments, Job Safety Analysis (JSA), and method statement reviews.
• Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses and recommend corrective actions.
• Monitor emergency preparedness and participate in emergency drills.
• Coordinate with project teams to implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Maintain safety documentation and ensure compliance with applicable Saudi regulations and project requirements.
• Immediately report serious safety violations or incidents to the relevant management.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or a related field.
• Relevant experience as a Safety Officer, preferably within construction, MEP, or engineering projects.
• Good knowledge of HSE procedures, risk assessment, and workplace safety practices.
• Relevant HSE certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA, or equivalent are an advantage.
• Strong communication, observation, and reporting skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a site/project environment.
• Bilingual in Arabic and English
• Immediate availability is preferred.
