Lifeguard Instructor

Principale fonction 

Carry out tasks relating to the supervision and rescue of bathers, teaching, sanitary maintenance and accident prevention.

Key Responsibilities

• Reports directly to the supervisor.
• He/she must be able to answer questions from the public about programmes and events.
• He/she must administer first aid.
• He/she must be prepared and organised for the course programme. He/she may give different courses.
• Must attend special events (outdoor pool).
• Must attend pre-season training.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

• Instruction :
  • National lifeguard
  • CPR
  • Red Cross instructor or current instructor certification
  • Bilingual - English and French
