What You’ll Do
- Lead implementation of risk based monitoring systems ensuring sub awardee compliance with federal and state requirements.
- Oversee desk, on site, and virtual monitoring activities, ensuring quality and consistency across programmatic, fiscal, and reporting reviews.
- Review and interpret complex financial documentation to validate allowable expenditures and identify emerging risks.
- Serve as a strategic resource for Division Directors on finance, administration, and grant related decision making.
- Direct sub award spending oversight using PeopleSoft Financials while ensuring accurate and accessible financial documentation.
- Evaluate sub awardee data for accuracy, completeness, and alignment with required performance measures.
- Identify compliance deficiencies, lead development of corrective action plans, and ensure timely resolution.
- Provide high level technical guidance to sub awardees to strengthen grant management, reporting, and documentation practices.
- Maintain audit ready records and oversee preparation for state and federal audit activities.
- Coordinate with internal program, finance, and data teams to resolve issues and support continuous improvement of processes and tools.
- Monitor completion of corrective actions and ensure sustained compliance across sub awardees.
- Contribute to enhancements of monitoring tools, templates, and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
