We’re currently hiring a Field Service Technician to join our growing team in Wakefield, MA. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on technical work, problem-solving in the field, and working independently while making a real impact on customer safety and compliance.

🔍 What You’ll Be Doing
As a Field Service Technician, you’ll help ensure fire alarm and security systems remain fully operational and compliant with safety regulations.
Daily Responsibilities Include:
- Conduct routine inspections and testing of fire alarm and security systems
- Inspect smoke detectors, motion sensors, alarm panels, and related equipment
- Replace batteries and perform preventative maintenance services
- Troubleshoot minor system issues and identify potential concerns
- Complete accurate digital inspection reports and service documentation
- Utilize software platforms including Sedona and BuildingReports
- Communicate professionally with customers on-site
- Coordinate with internal service and support teams as needed
- Maintain organized records and follow inspection procedures carefully
✅ What We’re Looking For
Preferred Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Previous experience in fire alarm, low voltage, electrical, or security systems work preferred
- NICET or IPSI certification is a plus
- Willingness to obtain industry certifications if not already certified
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently in the field
- Professional communication and customer service skills
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to pass a background check
