Job Overview
As an Implementation Specialist, you'll guide healthcare organizations through the successful implementation and adoption of CureMD's healthcare technology solutions, including Electronic Health Records (EHR), Practice Management (PM), and Revenue Cycle Management (RCM). As the primary point of contact throughout the implementation journey, you'll partner with clients to plan, coordinate, and execute onboarding activities, optimize workflows, deliver training, and ensure a successful go-live.
This role blends project management, healthcare operations, technical expertise, and client consulting to deliver seamless implementations and exceptional customer experiences. Success in this role requires a highly organized, customer-focused professional with a passion for solving complex challenges, building lasting relationships, and helping healthcare organizations improve the way they deliver care through technology.
This is a full-time position based at CureMD’s New York headquarters in Manhattan’s Financial District, with a hybrid schedule of three days on-site and two days remote per week.
Job Responsibilities
- Partners with clients to create and execute on-time implementation plans, balancing time and budget with high customer satisfaction.
- Leads key activities including workflow assessment and optimization, roll-out planning, training plan development, change management road-mapping, Go-Live Support.
- Liasons between internal and client teams to complete Data Migration, Content Development, Interfaces, Enrollment, and Billing Configuration workflows.
- Travel nationally to deliver onsite training and go-live support.
- Develops and maintains expertise on all CureMD solutions.
- Follows established project management SOPs and methodology, ensuring consistency from implementation to implementation.
- Works closely with Implementation leadership to constantly evaluate and improve the onboarding experience.
- Provides end-user training as needed.
- Mentors Implementation Associates (IA) as needed.

- 2+ years of experience implementing and training users on healthcare software systems, preferably EMR/EHR solutions.
- Strong customer service experience, ideally within the healthcare technology industry.
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
- Experience developing and delivering organized, sequential training programs for end users.
- Exceptional attention to detail, organizational, and time management skills.
- Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to quickly learn new technologies and confidently train and support users.
- Ability to manage multiple implementation and training schedules simultaneously.
- Proven project management experience with success managing timelines, customer expectations, and project deliverables.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional internal teams and external customers.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
- Willingness to travel up to 40% and work flexible hours as business needs require.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with EHR and/or Practice Management (PM) implementations in multi-specialty or enterprise ambulatory practices.
- Clinical experience in an ambulatory or outpatient care setting.
- Knowledge of or experience with Revenue Cycle Management (RCM).
- Experience supporting clinical or community oncology practices, with an understanding of oncology workflows, terminology, and practice operations is a plus.
- Experience using business intelligence and reporting tools.
- PMP, CAPM, Lean, or other project management certification preferred.
Compensation & Benefits
- $80,000–$90,000 annually, commensurate with experience, skills, and qualifications.
