Job description

Role: System Engineer

Location: Mechanicsburg, PA

Duration: CTH

Interview Type: F2F after Telephonic

Skills/Experience:

Education

Bachelor of Science degree (EE, CS, etc.)
- Candidates without a Bachelor’s degree will NOT be considered

Desired Certifications/Key Experience:
- Microsoft OS Administration
- Citrix Administration
- VMware Administration
- Active Directory
  - Domain Services
  - Proxy Services

Technology

Eight (8) years of experience with Windows Server 2003/2008 in a large scale Data Center environment with in depth knowledge of:

Citrix Administration
VMware Administration
Domain Services
Proxy Services
Server administration & performance monitoring
Active Directory and Group Policy Objects
Microsoft Distributed File System (DFS)
Patch management
Backup management (Desired: CommVault Backup & Recovery Solutions)
Scripting (Examples: Kickstart, Visual Basic, PowerShell, etc.)
Recent experience with Windows clustering, Microsoft SQL and Microsoft IIS
Thorough understanding and experience with WSUS
Understanding of TCP/IP and LAN/WAN connectivity
Experience with enterprise class system security requirements and server hardening practices
Comprehensive experience with disaster recovery preparedness and recovery exercises
Ability to establish and maintain Windows architecture best practices, including procedures, templates and relevant documentation
