We are looking for an experienced Power BI Specialist to own our entire Business Intelligence domain.
In this role, you will act as the bridge between our raw data infrastructure (Azure DW & SQL) and our Executive Management team.
You will not just build reports; you will translate complex business processes into actionable insights.
You must be comfortable managing the full data lifecycle-from writing SQL queries to designing the data model, crafting the DAX, and presenting the final dashboard to the C-Suite.
Key Responsibilities:
- End-to-End Ownership: Manage the full BI stack, from the Azure Data Warehouse/SQL DB layer up to the Power BI Service administration.
- Data Modeling: Design robust, scalable Star Schema data models (Facts/Dimensions) that ensure fast performance and accurate reporting.
- Advanced Development: Write complex DAX measures (Time Intelligence, YoY, Moving Averages) and optimize report performance.
- Business Partnership: Work directly with high-level management to understand business KPIs.
- SQL & ETL: Write efficient SQL queries, Views, and Stored Procedures within Azure Synapse/SQL DB to prepare data for ingestion.
- Data Governance: Manage workspaces, row-level security (RLS), and scheduled refreshes in the Power BI Service.
Required Qualifications:
Required Qualifications
- 4+ Years of hands-on Power BI Experience: Proven track record of deploying enterprise-level dashboards.
- Strong SQL & Azure Background: You must be comfortable writing your own SQL to extract and transform data from Azure SQL/Data Warehouse.
- Business Process Knowledge: Experience working with Finance (P&L, Cash Flow), Supply Chain, or Sales Operations.
- Executive Presence: Ability to present data to senior leadership confidently and push back or pivot when requirements change.
Skills:
- Experience with Power Query for data transformation.
- Knowledge of Azure Data Factory.
- Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate is a plus.
