Legal & Compliance Support

1. Litigation & Arbitration

• Handle and coordinate litigation matters across forums, including liaising with external counsel, tracking case status, and ensuring timely filings and compliance.

• Assist in arbitration proceedings — case strategy support, documentation, and coordination with arbitrators/counsel.

1. IPR

• Manage trademark, copyright, and other IPR-related matters, including filings, renewals, and enforcement support.

1. Contracts & Agreements

• Draft, vet, and review a wide range of commercial agreements/contracts, ensuring legal and commercial risk is appropriately flagged and mitigated.

1. Legal MIS & Reporting

• Own and maintain the group-level Legal MIS, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and consistency of data across entities.

• Coordinate with regional legal teams to collate data and prepare periodic reports for management.

• Responsible for managing and completeness of records.

1. Legal Technology

• Manage and ensure regular updation of Provakil (or equivalent legal case-management system), including data accuracy and compliance tracking.

1. Advisory

• Provide day-to-day legal advisory support to internal stakeholders/business teams on operational and compliance matters.

• Support any other legal/administrative tasks as assigned by the reporting manager.

1. To play a business partnering role and collaborate with multi-functional teams (including Commercial, Sales & Marketing, HR, Finance, Procurements, Mining & Projects etc.) to understand the business strategy and support the functions to achieve their objective.

2. Providing legal operational excellence and strategic guidance/support regarding legal risks and implications, etc. By providing appropriate legal advice by timely interpreting legal information.
