The Opportunity

Weʼre seeking a Sales focused Identity Solutions Lead to join our growing team in Australia. In this role, youʼll serve as a trusted advisor to enterprise customers, combining technical expertise with business insight. Reporting to the regional VP Sales, Marketing and Partnerships, youʼll play a key role in securing new logo sales as well as new sales to the existing client base. This is a customer-facing subject matter expert (SME) role that bridges technical depth with business value, supporting both Sales and Customer Success functions to deliver secure, scalable identity solutions and help drive adoption of Daonʼs biometric and authentication technologies.

Industry Expertise:

• SME on digital identity, biometric authentication, and identity proofing.
• Strong knowledge of compliance frameworks (GDPR, PSD2, eIDAS, FIDO) and the regulatory environment in Financial and Telco sectors.

Sales Expertise

• Work as part of the sales teams to qualify opportunities and shape solutions.
• Work with existing customers on greater platform adoption and solution growth.
• Deliver demos and lead technical responses for RFPs/POCs.

Post-Sales Engagement & Success:

• Support implementation and integration alongside Customer Success managers.
• Maximise platform adoption and business outcomes for customers.
• Collaborate with engineering teams on troubleshooting and enhancements.

Advisory & Enablement:

• Help clients design secure, scalable solutions using Daon’s product suite.
• Provide best-practice guidance and feed insights into product roadmap planning.
• Represent Daon confidently and professionally at industry events and other speaking engagements.

About You

Required Qualifications:

• 6+ years in identity, authentication, or cybersecurity.
• A strong and established professional network that you can leverage for sales goals.

• Background in consulting, software distribution, IT reseller network or a managed service provider
• Experience of working in a sales team.

• Strong knowledge of IAM, MFA and IDV protocols  and biometric technologies.
• Experience in SaaS platforms and enterprise client engagement.
• Excellent communication skills with both technical and executive stakeholders.

Education/Training/Experience:

• Minimum of 6 years’ industry experience within identity verification, biometric authentication, or related fields.
• Strong leadership and communication, with the ability to inspire teamwork and collective achievement.
• Expertise in document verification, biometric authentication, and fraud detection.
• Experience delivering market-leading identity verification end-user processes.
• Strong background in software and systems integration.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams across multiple workstreams.
• Recognised for rapid adaptability and impact in fast-paced setting.
• Solid planning skills.
• Skilled at managing diverse stakeholders, both technical and non-technical.
• Experience mentoring team members and supporting regulatory documentation.
• Ability to travel up to 15%.

• Honours degree or equivalent qualification.
