    TITLE: Coordinator, Climate Solutions

    TERMS: Permanent part-time position (25.5 hours per week, Monday to Thursday). Some travel, weekend and evening work may be required.

    LOCATION:  Montreal (Kanien’kehà:ka territory)

    WORK ENVIRONMENT: The position is hybrid, with a combination of remote work and 1 day/week required in-office days. Note that it will be eventually expected to move to 2 days per week.

    REPORTS TO: Director, Quebec/Atlantic Region & Climate Governance

    SALARY: $42873.75 (Class 1 - Coordinator, Level 1)

    THE ROLE

    You will play an essential role in supporting the organization's activities and the day-to-day operations of the Climate Solutions team's project portfolio. By coordinating projects, monitoring progress, facilitating stakeholder engagement, and strengthening operational effectiveness, you help ensure the successful delivery of initiatives that advance the organization's climate objectives. You serve as a central point of coordination across teams.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Support our director with calendar planning and other administrative priorities.
    • Collaborate with our director to organize strategic program planning meetings and other meetings, as requested by the climate solutions teams.
    • Rigorously and timely manage expense accounts, in collaboration with the Climate Solutions Administrator and our Director.
    • Assist the Climate Solutions Portfolio Administrator in coordinating all aspects of project and program implementation, including planning meetings and team retreats, note-taking, and other administrative tasks.
    • Support our director, portfolio administrator and project managers in facilitating internal quarterly team planning.
    • Collaborate with the director, portfolio administrator and project managers to organize events (e.g., team retreats), including budget planning and all logistical aspects.
    • Perform other tasks as needed.

    CONDITIONS: Poste permanent à temps partiel (25,5 heures par semaine, du lundi au jeudi). Des déplacements occasionnels ainsi que du travail en soirée ou la fin de semaine peuvent être requis.

    LIEU: Montréal (territoire des Kanien’kehà:ka).

    ENVIRONNEMENT DE TRAVAIL : Poste hybride combinant télétravail et présence au bureau. Une journée par semaine au bureau est actuellement requise; cette exigence passera éventuellement à deux journées par semaine.

    LE POSTE

    Vous jouez un rôle essentiel dans le soutien aux activités de l'organisation et à la gestion quotidienne du portefeuille de projets de l'équipe Solutions climatiques. En coordonnant les projets, en assurant le suivi de leur progression, en facilitant l'engagement des parties prenantes et en renforçant l'efficacité opérationnelle, vous contribuez à la réalisation réussie d'initiatives qui soutiennent les objectifs climatiques de l'organisation. Vous agissez comme point de coordination central entre les différentes équipes et veillez à l'alignement des priorités, des échéanciers et des livrables

    RESPONSABILITÉS

    • Soutenir notre directeur·trice dans la planification de son calendrier et la gestion d’autres priorités administratives.
    • Collaborer avec notre directeur·trice afin d’organiser des réunions de planification stratégique des programmes ainsi que d’autres réunions, à la demande des équipes de Solutions climatiques.
    • Gérer de manière rigoureuse et ponctuelle les comptes de dépenses, en collaboration avec l’administrateur·trice de Solutions climatiques et notre directeur·trice.
    • Appuyer l’administrateur·trice du portefeuille Solutions climatiques dans la coordination de tous les aspects de la mise en œuvre des projets et des programmes, notamment l’organisation des réunions de planification et des retraites d’équipe, la prise de notes et d’autres tâches administratives.
    • Soutenir notre directeur·trice, l’administrateur·trice du portefeuille et les gestionnaires de projet dans la facilitation de la planification trimestrielle interne de l’équipe.
    • Collaborer avec le ou la directeur·trice, l’administrateur·trice du portefeuille et les gestionnaires de projet afin d’organiser des événements (p. ex., des retraites d’équipe), y compris la planification budgétaire et tous les aspects logistiques.
    • Effectuer toute autre tâche connexe, au besoin.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • At least 1 year of experience in a similar role.
    • Proficiency in both French and English, with excellent writing skills in both languages.
    • Strong attention to detail and excellent administrative task management skills. Ability to lead activities with pride to ensure the team works harmoniously.
    • Experience in effectively processing invoices and expenses.
    • Efficient and detail-oriented individual.
    • Excellent time management skills.
    • Excellent communication skills.
    • Strong knowledge of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Solides compétences en communication et en collaboration.
    • Maîtrise des logiciels Microsoft Excel, Word et PowerPoint.
    • Expérience du suivi budgétaire ou de l'administration de projets, un atout.
