The Role

We are looking for a hardworking and reliable Labourer / Tiler to join our Maintenance team. The successful candidate will support general labouring duties across the property while carrying out tiling repairs and installations, helping to keep our hotels in excellent condition.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out tiling works including repairs, replacements, and new installations in bathrooms, guest rooms, and common areas
• Provide general labouring support to the Maintenance team, including lifting, carrying, and preparing materials
• Assist tradespeople (tilers, painters, carpenters, plumbers, etc.) with day-to-day maintenance and refurbishment tasks
• Prepare work areas and surfaces ahead of maintenance or refurbishment works
• Clean and clear work sites, disposing of waste and debris safely and responsibly
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests as directed by supervisors
• Ensure all work is carried out safely, neatly, and with minimal disruption to guests
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working order
• Assist with the loading, unloading, and moving of materials and supplies

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Labourer and/or Tiler, ideally within a hotel, construction, or hospitality environment
• Basic practical skills in tiling; willingness to learn and develop further skills
• Physically fit and able to carry out manual labour, including lifting and carrying materials
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• A hands-on, reliable, can-do attitude
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required by hotel operations
• Basic English communication skills
