It is designed to empower users, understanding their goals and unique context, and working in the background using tools, involving users only when necessary. It will minimize distractions, reduce anxiety, and be available across multiple devices.
Within the GeminiApp organization, the Gemini Android and Chrome Integrations team is focused on making the Gemini experience ambient across all surfaces. By embedding Gemini into the Android OS, and the Chrome platform, we are able to meet users where they are, allowing to apply Gemini assistant. This work aims to make Gemini an intelligence that flows alongside the user—shrinking for a glance, expanding for depth, and holding context through user interactions.
In this role, you will work on a team focused on solving user problems with AI solutions. You will navigate ambiguity to define and build consumer-facing products and features, working across the stack in Android, iOS, Web, or backend services. We are looking for software engineers to design and implement frontend experiences and well-designed, scalable backend services.
