Job Title: Java Developer + Automation Testing experience
Location: Charlotte, NC (Onsite) – Need Locals, no relocation candidates
Duration: 6+ months Contract

They want someone who spends the majority of their time developing software, but also has meaningful experience building and executing automated tests.
Must-haves
Strong Java development experience
Building applications/features, not just test scripts
Object-oriented programming
APIs/services/backend development
Test automation experience
Selenium
Playwright
Cucumber
JMeter
Or comparable automation frameworks
Ability to write automation code, not simply execute tests
Experience integrating testing into the development lifecycle/CI/CD
Comfortable working as a developer who owns quality, rather than a QA person primarily responsible for testing

Unit testing only
JUnit-only testing
QA automation without substantial Java development
An SDET whose primary background is testing rather than application development Java Developer + Automation Testing experience
