What you’ll achieve:

As a Senior Principal Engineer, you will lead high-impact initiatives centered on Dell storage solutions, owning end-to-end architectures and complex integration strategies across enterprise and AI-driven environments. You will prototype solutions, validate design patterns, drive ecosystem integrations and data management tools, and ensure non-functional requirements—performance, scalability, resilience, and security—are met at scale.

Responsibilities

You will:

• Architect & Design: Deliver comprehensive technical architectural designs and detailed implementation plans for storage deployments, with a particular emphasis on AI/ML and data-intensive workloads.
• Drive Storage Migrations and Enable Ecosystem Integrations: Lead and execute complex data migration engagements leveraging both native Dell migration tooling and qualified third-party migration platforms, ensuring minimal disruption and data integrity throughout the lifecycle. And design and implement integrations between Dell storage solutions and the broader technology ecosystem.
• Install, Customize & Integrate: Participate in and oversee the installation, customization, and integration of Dell Technologies solutions within diverse customer environments, ensuring alignment with architectural standards and best practices.
• Lead Validation & Benchmarking: Conduct and lead design reviews, proofs-of-concept (PoCs), and performance benchmarking exercises to validate solution architectures against customer requirements and workload characteristics.
• Standardize & Mentor: Document reusable design standards, reference architectures, and operational runbooks; mentor fellow engineers in advanced design techniques, emerging technologies, and delivery excellence.

Essential Requirements

• 12+ years of progressive experience in enterprise storage architecture, design, and delivery.
• Proven track record in the delivery of complex storage design architectures, large-scale integrations, and data migrations across heterogeneous environments.
• Hands-on experience designing and implementing Dell storage solutions in AI/ML, analytics, and high-performance computing projects.
• Automation-first mindset with practical experience applying automation across build, test, and deploy pipelines to accelerate delivery and ensure repeatability.

Desirable Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Dell Technologies Proven Professional certification in Storage Design and Implementation (e.g., PowerScale or related tracks).
