    Job description

    Role Summary

This is an opportunity to join our APAC team supporting one of the world's leading financial institutions. As part of the Enhanced Client Periodic Review (ECPR) function, you will contribute to periodic KYC and Customer Due Diligence (CDD) reviews of existing end clients and financial intermediaries, working within either the Front Office Support (FOS) “Maker” function or the Reviewing Officer (RO) “Approver” function.

Working within a Client Lifecycle Management (CLM) and Financial Crime Compliance environment, you will support the bank in maintaining up-to-date client due diligence records, addressing source of wealth and source of funds gaps, and ensuring ongoing monitoring obligations are met in line with internal policy and regulatory expectations.

You will work closely with Relationship Managers, Team Heads, Market Heads, Compliance, and other stakeholders across the bank to support the successful completion of periodic review and remediation activity.

    General Responsibilities

    •      Conduct periodic reviews of KYC and CDD information of existing end clients and financial intermediaries.

    •      Perform independent and thorough review, including plausibility checks as well as corroboration of existing clients’ source of wealth and source of funds, and address gaps where identified.

    •      Advise Front Office and other colleagues within the team on client ongoing monitoring and review matters, including deficiencies in KYC information and corroboration documents.

    •      Collaborate with key stakeholders involved in the process – Relationship Managers, Team Heads, Market Heads, Compliance and other colleagues within the Bank – to ensure source of wealth gaps / red flags uncovered during periodic reviews are properly addressed and closed out.

    •      Conduct reviews of existing clients to ensure their biodata remains updated.

    •      Support on matters assigned from time to time in line with the Bank’s overall priorities.

    •      Collaborate with other colleagues within the Bank to drive and assist remediation and other projects as and when required.

    •      Prepare Management Information (MI) reports based on agreed requirements.

    Role-Specific Requirements

    1. ECPR – Front Office Support (FOS) “Maker”

    Scope of work:

    •      Supporting high-volume name screening using Dow Jones and Factiva.

    •      Discounting false positives.

    •      Assessing justification for true adverse hits.

    2. ECPR – Reviewing Officer (RO) “Approver”

    Scope of work:

    •      Reviewing Front Office Support name screening assessments.

    •      Reviewing client risk factors, including PEP, reputational risk and sanctions exposure.

    •      Assessing Source of Funds plausibility.

    •      Reviewing transaction monitoring alerts.

    Job Requirements

    Skills and Experience

As an ECPR FOS or RO professional, you will have:

    •      A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Banking, Business, Economics, Law, or a related discipline.

    •      1–3 years of experience in KYC, AML, Client Lifecycle Management (CLM), Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD), or periodic review within Financial Services.

    •      Experience reviewing and assessing Source of Wealth and/or Source of Funds documentation for retail, private banking, wealth management, or corporate banking clients.

    •      Understanding of AML/CFT regulations and customer due diligence requirements.

    •      Experience handling documentation requests, client outreach processes, and remediation or periodic review programmes.

    •      Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess complex financial information and supporting documents.

    •      Experience working with KYC and case management systems.

    •      Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.

It Would Be Great If You

    •      Have previous experience supporting large-scale periodic review, KYC refresh, or remediation programmes.

    •      Possess knowledge of MAS AML/CFT requirements and industry best practices relating to Source of Wealth verification and name screening.

    •      Have exposure to Private Banking, Wealth Management, Corporate Banking, or Financial Crime Operations environments.

    •      Demonstrate excellent attention to detail and strong investigative skills.

    •      Are able to articulate findings clearly through written case assessments and stakeholder communications.

    •      Are organised and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

    •      Take ownership of deliverables and consistently meet quality and productivity targets.

    •      Enjoy working collaboratively with a diverse range of stakeholders.
