Senior Systems Administrator I

We are looking for a visionary Senior Systems Administrator to architect, build, support, and optimize scalable infrastructure solutions spanning on-premises and cloud platforms, utilizing modern engineering methodologies and automation-driven best practices.

The Sr. Systems Engineer is responsible for the administration, support, maintenance, and continuousimprovement of enterprise web and middleware platforms that support critical business application. This role provides advanced technical support, infrastructure engineering, and platform administration across web services technologies, with a strong focus on TIBCO ActiveMatrix, web infrastructure platforms, Windows Server environments, automation, and production support.

The engineer serves as a key technical resource for troubleshooting complex issues, implementing upgrades and migrations, improving operational processes, and ensuring the reliability, stability, and performance of enterprise application infrastructure.

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable cloud-based applications using AWS services.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Implement best practices for cloud architecture, security, and performance.
• Automate deployment, monitoring, and management of cloud applications.
• Provide Level 3 (L3) support for enterprise middleware and web services platforms, including TIBCO ActiveMatrix environments.
• Administer, maintain, and troubleshoot TIBCO ActiveMatrix infrastructure to ensure high availability and performance.
• Support enterprise web infrastructure platforms and associated technologies in production and non-production environments.
• Perform root cause analysis and resolve complex application and infrastructure incidents.
• Plan, coordinate, and execute platform upgrades, migrations, patches, and vulnerability remediation activities.
• Administer and support Windows Server-based application environments.
• Develop, maintain, and enhance automation solutions and operational scripts to improve efficiency, reliability, and consistency.
• Support application deployment activities and collaborate with development teams to ensure successful implementation of solutions.
• Monitor platform health, performance, and capacity to proactively identify and address issues.
• Participate in on-call support and major incident response activities as required.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and support knowledge articles.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, security, application, and business teams to support enterprise initiatives and technology modernization efforts.
• Support additional middleware and distributed caching technologies, including WebSphere eXtreme Scale and related web services platforms.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest AWS technologies and industry trends.
