About the team /role overview
· Responsible for overall development, authoring, and management of aircraft technical instructions utilized on Delta’s fleet of aircraft and/or engines.
· Must ensure compliance to FAA Regulations, Engineering documentation, and other substantiating data as outlined in the Technical Operation Policies & Procedures (TOPP).
· Must work closely with numerous departments including Line Maintenance, Base Maintenance, Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Engineering, Maintenance, Materials, Production Control, Supplier Operations and others to ensure all aircraft manual content meets FAA, ATA, and Delta standards.
· Must ensure safety conscious behaviors are incorporated into all procedures.
· Position requires a thorough knowledge of commercial aviation documentation and guidance specifications (i.e. ATA 100, iSpec2200, S1000D, and etc).
