The Plumber installs, services, and troubleshoots water heaters and plumbing fixtures in occupied or unoccupied residential, multifamily, commercial, and other properties. The role completes job documentation, protects customer property, and delivers quality service.
· Install and service gas and electric tank water heaters, tankless water heaters, hybrid water heaters, direct- and power-vent water heaters, and recirculating pumps in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local codes.
· Install and service faucets, garbage disposals, and toilets, as well as water filtration, reverse osmosis, and water softening systems. Troubleshoot related issues.
· Complete and upload required job documentation promptly in the company system.
· Protect customers’ personal property and maintain a clean work area.
· Enter time, mileage, and materials in applicable company software.
· Maintain truck stock appropriate to the work and a safe driving record in accordance with company policy.
· Communicate professionally with customers and deliver work that meets company standards for workmanship and quality.
· Perform other related duties as assigned within the scope of the position.
· Practical experience installing and servicing water heaters and plumbing fixtures.
· Ability to troubleshoot plumbing equipment and work in compliance with applicable codes.
· Valid driver’s license and driving record acceptable under company policy for assigned driving duties.
· Experience with water treatment systems, tankless water heaters, and field service software.
This position has no formal supervisory responsibilities.
· Knowledge of water heater and plumbing fixture installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
· Ability to document work accurately and manage time, mileage, materials, and truck stock.
· Customer communication, attention to property protection, and consistent workmanship.
· Travel: Daily travel to customer job sites may be required.
· Physical demands: Plumbing work may involve lifting and carrying equipment and materials, standing, kneeling, bending, reaching, and working in confined spaces.
· Work environment: Occupied and unoccupied properties, including residential, multifamily, and commercial job sites; conditions may include outdoor heat, tools, water, and active work areas.
