    Position: Sales Coordinator
    Location: Residence Inn Arlington Rosslyn
    Department: Sales
    Status: Full-Time
    Salary Range: $22.00 -$24.00 per hour

    Who You Are

    You are a highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented professional with a passion for supporting sales operations and delivering exceptional guest experiences. You thrive in fast-paced environments, excel at multitasking, and communicate effectively with clients and internal teams alike. You have experience in sales support, event coordination, or a related field, and you take pride in building strong client relationships through timely follow-up and seamless coordination. You are also adaptable and team-oriented, stepping in to support Front Desk operations and guest services as needed to ensure smooth daily operations.

    What You'll Do

    • Provide administrative support as assigned.
    • Point of contact for all rooms-only groups after sales turnover
    • Maintain reader boards throughout the hotel displaying in-house meetings. Update daily.
    • Answer telephone, take phone leads, take and refer messages, and return calls.
    • Responsible for inventory control of office supplies.
    • Adhere to all work rules, procedures, and policies established by the hotel, including, but not limited to, those contained in the employee handbook.
    • Manage hotel reservations for the sales department as assigned by DOSM.
    • Schedule Requirements: This position includes Front Desk responsibilities. The Sales Coordinator must be available to work Front Desk shifts as assigned based on business needs, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

    Qualifications:

    • Previous experience in sales, event planning, or hospitality is preferred.
    • "Hands-On" team member who is actively involved daily
    • Strong organizational, multitasking, and attention-to-detail skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
    • Ability to work well under pressure while handling multiple tasks.
    • A proactive, positive attitude with a customer-first approach.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
    • Familiarity with Delphi and Fosse.
    • High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education in Hospitality, Event Management, or a related field is preferred.
