Job Summary:
Under broad supervision, manages the end-to-end operational procurement lifecycle, with primary responsibility for requisition review, processing, and approval. Ensures that internal purchasing requests are accurately and efficiently converted into authorized purchases in compliance with applicable procurement policies, financial controls, and agency procedures. Develops and implements strategies to improve and strengthen operational efficiency, reduce processing delays, and promote sound procurement practices. Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers. Provides professional-level support across assigned procurement categories, including sourcing and purchasing activities, category administration, and ongoing supplier performance management.

Minimum Qualifications:
Associate degree in accounting or business or a directly related field from an accredited college or university and four (4) years of job-related experience in a procurement environment, which included one (1) year in a lead worker, team leader, or supervisory role; or Technical diploma in accounting or business from an accredited college or university and five (5) years of job-related experience in a procurement environment which included one (1) year in a lead worker, team leader, or supervisory role; or two (2) years of experience at the lower level Procurement Agent 3 (FEP022) or position equivalent.--Note: Some positions require Georgia Procurement Manual area-specific certification(s).Equal Employment Opportunity Employer
