Key Responsibilities:

• Represent deugro Internally and Externally
• To ensure Legal, compliance and commercial responsibility for all deugro's businesses conducted in the assigned Countries and in line with all South African statatutory Laws and Regulations, Ensure that deugro's guidelines are implemented and followed
• Do all Training that is released internally
• Evaluate and setup Subcontract Management strategy for the Region focusing to start on South Africa
• Liaise with all Subcontractors correctly, efficiently, timeously for all Shipments being handled
• Negotiate rates with all Subcontractors including keeping accurate records of all negotiations done
• Do all Global Subcontract Management vetting as required
• Setup Standard Operating Procedures for all Subcontractors
• Conduct Subcontract Management Reviews with input from colleagues
• Manage all Global Tenders for the Region as the main contact person
• Submit all Pricing and documentation required for all Global and Local Tenders to aid and support the growth of South Africa and Africa

Skills, knowledge, and expertise:

• Your successfully completed studies with a focus on logistics or trade and economics
• Ideally, experience in pricing and tender management
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize, plan, assign, and control tasks, with a high attention to detail
• Sound decision-making abilities, ensuring customer and shipment decisions are made in the best interest of deugro
• Analytical and business process–driven mindset
• Knowledge of all used tools to perform an effectively such as Excel, Microsoft, PowerPoint, Outlook, and each new tool that is released
• Strong people management, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships at all organizational levels
• Ability to integrate tactical initiatives and drive continuous process improvements
• Your very good command of English, enabling you to quickly find your way around the international arena
