Position summary

We are seeking a junior Financial Analyst to support financial planning, budgeting, and budget execution for Federal Client screening programs across the capability lifecycle. Working with the Program Manager and senior financial staff, this role maintains spend plans, analyzes variances, and prepares financial reporting. Candidates should be familiar with Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE); the SOW also incorporates Strategy through PPBES.

Responsibilities

· Maintain budget and spend-plan trackers; compile and validate Government-provided financial data and historical funding allocation and distribution records.

· Compare planned and actual spending, research discrepancies, and flag funding or execution concerns for senior review.

· Help prepare future-year budget inputs, resource requirements, and supporting analyses for the PPBE/PPBES process.

· Assist with Purchase Request (PR) package reviews and quality checks of funding approval, resource allocation, and investment planning documents; track corrections and supporting documentation.

· Prepare accurate, accessible financial tables, briefing slides, and data-call responses; coordinate with scheduling and risk staff to identify how financial changes affect program plans.

Deliverables supported

Contribute to bi-weekly spend-plan reports, quarterly financial briefings, and assigned division-wide budget analyses, plus financial inputs to program status reporting.
