    About the Role

    Purpose of the Role

    The Brand Manager operates within EEME's distributor-led business model, where Global teams define brand strategy, positioning, growth drivers, innovation pipelines and core brand assets; Regional teams provide portfolio direction, investment priorities and capability; and market teams translate these into locally relevant plans.

    The role is responsible for bringing assigned brands to life in market by translating Global and Regional brand strategy into locally relevant consumer activation and growth plans.

    Execution is primarily delivered through distributor partners and agencies. The Brand Manager therefore plays a critical role in equipping, influencing and challenging partners, providing clear brand standards and activation direction, and ensuring execution consistently reflects Diageo's brand ambition.

    Working closely with Commercial, Customer Marketing, Consumer & Shopper Insights and distributor teams, the role connects consumer understanding with commercial opportunities to strengthen brand equity, recruitment, penetration and sustainable growth.

    Top Accountabilities

    • Drive brand growth and performance by identifying opportunities, managing risks and delivering against key business objectives.

    • Translate global and regional brand strategies into impactful local activation plans and campaigns.

    • Leverage consumer, market and cultural insights to strengthen brand relevance, equity and commercial performance.

    • Partner with distributors and agencies to ensure consistent, high-quality execution aligned with brand standards.

    • Monitor investment effectiveness and optimize plans to maximize growth, efficiency and ROI.

    • Collaborate across Marketing, Commercial, Customer Marketing and Finance teams to unlock new growth opportunities.

    About You

    • Degree in Marketing, Business or a related discipline.

    • Typically 4–6 years of relevant Marketing, Commercial or FMCG experience.

    • Experience managing brands and/or delivering integrated consumer activation.

    • Strong understanding of consumer marketing, brand building and activation principles.

    • Experience translating consumer and market insights into actionable plans.

    • Commercial understanding with ability to connect brand activity to business performance.

    • Experience working with agencies and multiple external partners.

    • Distributor or indirect-route-to-market experience is highly desirable.

    • Strong project management and cross-functional collaboration skills.

    • Good digital, data and AI literacy, with ability to leverage new tools to strengthen marketing effectiveness.
