Position Summary
Inspect, test, sort, sample, or weigh finished products for conformance to specifications requirements. Use precision measuring instruments and test equipment.

Essential Functions
- Analyze and interpret data, manuals, and other materials to determine specifications, inspection and testing procedures, adjustment and certification methods, formulas, and measuring instruments required.
- Maintain and adjust the product printing devises.
- Collect or select samples for testing or for use as models. Grade, classify, and sort products according to sizes, weights, colors, or other specifications.
- Inspect, test, or measure finished products for conformance to specifications. Reject products not meeting specifications.
- Measure dimensions of products to verify conformance to specifications, using measuring instruments such as rulers, calipers, gauges, or micrometers.
- Compare colors, shapes, textures, or grades of products or materials with color charts, templates, or samples to verify conformance to standards.
- Record inspection or test data, such as weights, temperatures, grades, or moisture content, and quantities inspected or graded.
- Compute defect percentages or averages, using formulas and calculators, and prepare reports of inspection or test findings.
- Analyze test data and make computations as necessary to determine test results.
- Mark items with details such as grade and acceptance or rejection status.
- Assist production management in monitoring ongoing production.
- Notify supervisors and other personnel of production problems, and assist in identifying and correcting these problems.
- Assist in training of production operators with respect to quality parameters.
- Read dials and meters to verify that testing equipment is functioning at specified levels.
- Clean, maintain, repair, and calibrate measuring instruments and test equipment such as dial indicators, fixed gauges, and height gauges.
- Stack and arrange tested products for further processing, shipping, or transport products to grinding stations as necessary.
- Keep immediate supervisor fully informed of issues or unusual matters of significance.
- Comply with all company standards, rules and policies.
- Reliable attendance.
- Attend 1-2 Training Seminars per year.
- Other tasks as assigned.

1. Must be able to work 12-hour shifts.
2. Must be able to stand and walk on concrete floors.

Experience and Education Requirements:
1.High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
Language Skills:
Ability to read and comprehend complex instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and group situations to other employees of the organization. Ability to read, comprehend and speak basic English.
Mathematical Skills:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply technical skill along with common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving multiple concrete variables in standardized situations.
