As a Systems Administrator, you'll play a critical role in designing, building, and maintaining the infrastructure that supports our development teams, manufacturing operations, internal users, and customers.
You'll be instrumental in operating the infrastructure that powers our business, with a relentless focus on security, scalability, automation, and achieving zero downtime across our systems.

What You’ll Do
- Design, implement, and manage enterprise Linux and Windows server environments.
- Build and maintain highly available production, development, testing, and customer environments.
- Monitor system health, performance, and security while proactively identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Lead infrastructure projects involving virtualization, cloud technologies, automation, and enterprise applications.
- Partner with software engineers to architect scalable server and database solutions.
- Develop scripts and automation that eliminate manual work and improve operational efficiency.
- Manage backups, disaster recovery, business continuity, and capacity planning initiatives.
- Implement and strengthen cybersecurity controls that protect company systems and intellectual property.
- Maintain enterprise monitoring, patch management, and system documentation.
- Coordinate system upgrades, maintenance windows, incident response, and change management activities.
- Collaborate with third-party vendors and managed service providers to ensure high-quality service delivery.
- Continuously evaluate new technologies that improve reliability, performance, and operational effectiveness.
- Observes and adheres to DMP Data Classification Standard.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems or equivalent professional experience.
- 8+ years of enterprise systems administration experience supporting mission-critical environments.
- Extensive Linux administration experience, including Red Hat Enterprise Linux, CentOS, and Ubuntu.
- Strong Microsoft Windows Server experience, including Exchange and Microsoft 365.
- Experience building, deploying, maintaining, patching, and supporting production servers in 24/7 environments.
- Deep understanding of web infrastructure, including Apache, Tomcat, load balancers, firewalls, web servers, and database servers.
- Experience supporting technologies such as Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, Ruby on Rails, Perl, Shell scripting, HTTP, SNMP, SMTP, DNS, DHCP, and enterprise monitoring tools.
- Enterprise virtualization experience using VMware and cloud infrastructure platforms.
- Experience developing automation and scripting solutions that improve operational efficiency.
- Strong knowledge of cybersecurity, disaster recovery, backup strategies, capacity planning, and infrastructure documentation.
- Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to successfully manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
