Asset Analyst

The Department for Infrastructure and Transport plays a vital role connecting people and places in South Australia by managing roads, marine and public transport networks across the State, and builds and maintains the State-owned infrastructure that enables the delivery of essential and important government services to our community.

The Asset Insights Team within the Transport Analytics Directorate provides analytics, pavement asset modelling, and data management services to integrate best practices and improve the management of South Australia's road pavement assets.

The role is responsible for maintaining asset registers, extracting and validating data to provide high-quality insights and support the evidence-based decision-making in pavement asset management. We are seeking a collaborative and analytical candidate with strong data management, problem-solving and stakeholder engagement skills, who can translate complex information into practical insights and contribute to continuous improvement and innovation.

Educational Qualifications / Licences 

• Degree in Engineering (Civil Engineering preferred) providing eligibility for graduate membership as a professional Engineer with Engineer Australia is required.
• A current driver's licence is essential.

Special Conditions

• A National Police Check (NPC) is required prior to employment in the Department for Infrastructure and Transport which must be renewed every three years.
• Some out of hours and weekend work may be required

Remuneration
PO2 - $94,769 to $109,787 pa + superannuation.
