The Team Leader Budgeting and Reporting is accountable to the Manager, Financial Analysis, Budgeting and Portfolio Reporting for providing expert leadership in finance, reporting, and decision support services. They will manage and develop a team responsible for delivering business partnering services (operating/capital) and providing budget management support and advice to senior executives.
The role
also involves setting priorities and contributing to the development of new budget management strategies and ongoing cost-saving measures and management of Departmental Forward Estimates.
The Team Leader Budgeting and Reporting will also be the central for liaison with business areas for various budgetary processes including Mid-Year Budget Review, Impacting Data Adjustments, costing comments and TI8 Acquittals.
An appropriate degree in accounting, finance or economics is highly regarded.
Full membership/accreditation with professional accounting body (e.g.
CPA Australia or Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand) is highly regarded.
