Team Leader Procurement (Goods/Services and IT)

The Department for Infrastructure and Transport plays a vital role connecting people and places in South Australia by managing roads, marine and public transport networks across the State, and builds and maintains the State-owned infrastructure that enables the delivery of essential and important government services to our community

This role provides specialised IT procurement support, develops procurement capability, drives continuous improvement, and partners with stakeholders to deliver value for money outcomes for the Department.

We are seeking a collaborative and customer-focused procurement professional with strong leadership, stakeholder engagement, strategic thinking and communication skills.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate sound procurement expertise, initiative, problem-solving ability and a commitment to delivering value, continuous improvement and high-quality outcomes which contribute to delivering complex and strategic procurements.

Educational Qualifications / Licences

• Tertiary Qualification in a relevant discipline and/or Chartered Institute of Purchasing & Supply (MCIPS) will be well regarded.

Special Conditions

• A National Police Check (NPC) is required prior to employment in the Department for Infrastructure and Transport which must be renewed every three years.
• Some out of hours and weekend work along with some intra / interstate travel may be required.

Remuneration
ASO8 - $130,046 to $134,956 pa + superannuation.
