TIER 3 SUPERVISOR, VIDAS

The Department for Infrastructure and Transport plays a vital role connecting people and places in South Australia by managing roads, marine and public transport networks across the State, and builds and maintains the State-owned infrastructure that enables the delivery of essential and important government services to our community.

The Vehicle Identity Assessment Unit (VIDAS) coordinates vehicle identity inspections repaired written-off vehicle examinations and audits, while maintaining the integrity of South Australia's vehicle registration records.

Leads a team delivering repaired written-off vehicle assessments, forensic inspections and compliance audits. Seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented leader with strong technical, investigative and communication skills, capable of managing complex cases, supporting staff and building effective stakeholder relationships.

Educational Qualifications / Licences  

• A Certificate IV in Government Investigations and Compliance is required.
• A current drivers Licence is essential.

Special Conditions

• A National Police Check (NPC) is required prior to employment in the Department for Infrastructure and Transport which must be renewed every three years.
• A Working with Children Check (WWCC) is required prior to employment with the Department for Infrastructure and Transport, which must be renewed every five years before expiry.
• Location is at Naweena Road, Regency Park.
• Must be prepared to wear Agency uniform
• Work 152 hours over a four-week period.
• Some out of hours and weekend work may be required

Remuneration

OPS 5 -$88,149 to $94,236 pa + superannuation.
