Team Manager BE Engineering (gn) - Location Bucharest

We are looking for an experienced Team Manager Backend Engineering to lead and develop backend engineering teams responsible for delivering and operating the services behind DKV's digital products.

In this role, you will drive team performance, delivery excellence, and operational stability while fostering a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement. You will collaborate closely with Product, Architecture, Platform, and Business stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of reliable, scalable, and secure backend solutions.

Your responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop backend engineering teams.
• Ensure predictable delivery of business objectives and engineering commitments.
• Drive operational excellence, service reliability, and continuous improvement.
• Manage priorities, risks, dependencies, and team capacity.
• Own and optimize engineering processes, including planning, releases, incident and change management.
• Build strong partnerships with Product, Engineering, and Business stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with governance, security, and quality standards.
