We’re looking for a Fundraising Assistant in our Supporter Acquisition team, who are responsible for recruiting new supporters to donate to our work.
As Supporter Acquisition Fundraising Assistant, you’ll:
- provide administrative support to the Supporter Acquisition team, from responding to queries to research and content collation, you’ll assist with various elements of the supporter recruitment lifecycle,
- support with diary management and meeting planning for the team, as well as managing their digital assets, documents, and files,
- support with sourcing case studies and attending photo shoots, working closely with teams in rehoming centres,
- generate and circulate reports, gathering information related to income, KPI’s and supporter feedback, helping the team ensure compliance with fundraising regulations.
This role is fixed term until October 2027. Interviews are provisionally scheduled for 13th and 14th October 2026 and will take place on Teams.
We’re looking for candidates who have strong organisational skills and the ability to cope well under pressure, as this role can often be reactive. You’ll need some experience of using Microsoft software, such as Teams and SharePoint, and basic copywriting skills and experience. A basic understanding of fundraising and marketing is essential too, as well as a passion for our work.
The Mass Public Fundraising directorate brings in approximately £88m per annum through regular giving, one off gifts, prize led fundraising, community and events and legacy and in memory. Our collective ambition is to build on our already successful portfolio of fundraising products and grow and diversify our income by 25% over the next five years, through engagement and value exchange.
