We're looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Delivery Driver to join our team at our O'Fallon location (8760 Veterans Memorial Pkwy). As a Delivery Driver, you'll be the face of our company, delivering quality products and exceptional service directly to our customers' doors. - Safely operate a vehicle to deliver products to customers throughout the O'Fallon area and surrounding neighborhoods
- Plan and execute efficient delivery routes to maximize productivity and minimize delivery times
- Provide friendly, professional customer service and represent the company with a positive attitude
- Maintain accurate delivery records, including customer signatures, delivery times, and any special instructions
- Inspect vehicle daily for mechanical issues and perform routine maintenance checks
- Handle cash and card transactions securely and accurately
- Communicate proactively with dispatch regarding delivery status, delays, or customer concerns
- Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies while operating the vehicle
- Organize and load delivery items carefully to prevent damage during transport
- Build positive relationships with customers and handle inquiries or complaints with empathy and professionalism
- Must be 18 years of age or older with a valid driver's license
- Minimum 2 years of driving history with a clean Motor Vehicle Record meeting company standards
- Access to a reliable, insured vehicle suitable for delivery purposes
- Must pass a comprehensive criminal background check and Motor Vehicle Record Check
- Strong time management and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple deliveries
- Excellent customer service skills and a friendly, professional demeanor
- Proficiency with GPS navigation systems and route planning tools
- Reliable transportation and consistent punctuality
- Physical capability to lift, carry, and deliver items weighing up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed
- Strong communication skills and ability to follow detailed instructions
- Resilience and adaptability to handle varying weather conditions and traffic situations
- Preferred: Previous delivery or customer-facing experience
- Preferred: Knowledge of the O'Fallon area and surrounding regions
