We're looking for a reliable and customer-focused Delivery Driver to join our team at our Morton location (11 E. Jackson St.). In this role, you'll be the face of our organization, delivering quality service and smiles to our customers throughout the community. As a Delivery Driver, you'll play a crucial part in ensuring timely and safe delivery of orders while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and customer satisfaction.
- Safely operate a vehicle to deliver orders to customers in assigned routes within Morton and surrounding areas
- Plan and optimize delivery routes to ensure efficient time management and on-time arrivals
- Maintain a clean, well-organized vehicle and perform routine maintenance checks
- Handle packages with care, ensuring products arrive in excellent condition
- Provide friendly, professional customer service and represent the organization positively
- Accurately document delivery information and maintain detailed records
- Follow all traffic laws and company safety protocols to ensure safe driving practices
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and management regarding delivery status and any issues
- Respond professionally to customer inquiries and resolve concerns with empathy
- Meet performance goals and delivery targets while maintaining flexibility with scheduling
- Valid driver's license with a minimum of 2 years of driving history
- Pass a Motor Vehicle Record Check meeting company-specific standards
- Access to a reliable, insured vehicle suitable for delivery purposes
- Proven ability to navigate routes efficiently and manage time effectively
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused mindset
- Physical capability to safely lift and carry packages of varying sizes
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to meeting delivery deadlines
- Clean driving record and demonstrated commitment to safe driving practices
- Positive attitude, resilience, and ability to work independently
- Willingness to work flexible hours based on business needs
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
