As a Delivery Driver, you'll be the face of our organization, delivering quality service and smiles to our customers throughout the community. - Safely operate a vehicle to deliver products to customers in assigned routes within Fairview Heights and surrounding areas
- Navigate routes efficiently using GPS and mapping technology to optimize delivery times and fuel consumption
- Load, unload, and transport packages while ensuring products arrive in excellent condition
- Provide friendly, professional customer service at each delivery point, addressing customer inquiries and concerns
- Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation, including signatures and delivery confirmations
- Perform vehicle maintenance checks and report any mechanical issues or safety concerns promptly
- Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies to ensure safe driving practices
- Manage time effectively to meet delivery schedules and performance targets
- Communicate proactively with dispatch regarding route changes, delays, or customer issues
- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle interior and exterior
- Must be 18 years of age or older with a valid driver's license
- Minimum 2 years of driving history with a clean Motor Vehicle Record meeting company standards
- Access to a reliable, insured vehicle suitable for delivery purposes
- Ability to lift, carry, and transport packages weighing up to 50 pounds regularly
- Strong time management and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple deliveries
- Proficiency with GPS navigation systems and basic technology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused mindset
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to meeting delivery schedules
- Knowledge of traffic safety regulations and defensive driving practices
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed
- Must pass a criminal background check and Motor Vehicle Record Check
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and genuine enthusiasm for customer service
