Custodian / Janitor

Major purpose:
Maintain a clean working environment for all staff and visitors.
Ensure all areas are safe.
Major functions:
RESPONSIBILITIES AND

DUTIES:

• 
  1.Clean and sanitize bathrooms.
  2.
• Clean, mop, wash, buff, and vacuum floors.
  3.
• Empty trash.
  4.
• Maintain outside walk areas including sweeping debris and washing walkways.
  5.
• Clean and polish fixtures.
  6.
• Remove recycling materials.
  7.
• Clean windows.
  8.
• Dust furniture.
  9.
• Minor maintenance work including changing light bulbs, painting, moving office furniture.
  10.
• All other duties as assigned.
  GENERAL
  1.
• Complies with all safety rules, regulations, and procedures
  .2.
• Performs all duties in complete compliance with all legal and ethical standards.
  3.
• Maintains the security of classified and/or company proprietary information.
• Provides necessary information to acquire/upgrade security clearances if required.
  4.
• Performs other duties as assigned or as judgement and necessity dictate.
  Technical/Functional

skills:

• 
  Education/Experience/Licenses etc.:
  1.
• One year custodial experience.
  2.
• Ability to physically lift up 50 lbs.
  3.
• Ability to work with cleaning chemicals.
