We’re looking for an Account Manager to help us grow one of our fastest growing avenues of our business, New Verticals.
In this role you will be in direct contact to some of the most valuable merchants that partner with DoorDash. You will be responsible for growing our grocery, convenience and liquor accounts - an exciting new avenue of our business! You will be a key contributor in the success of one of the fastest growing areas of our business. Most of all you’ll get the opportunity to work in a dynamic start-up environment. The best candidates will be self-motivated, entrepreneurial, and have exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
What you’ll do
- Grow the product line — be directly responsible for building and growing a book of business within the DoorDash Drive product line by driving the sales, adoption, and account management lifecycle
- Lead with a Merchant-First Approach — as the voice of your accounts, work closely with internal stakeholders from Product, Engineering, Operations, Support, and Marketing to solve key challenges for our partners and execute solutions to scale delivery for their business
- Own the relationship - As an Account Manager (New Verticals), you will own the overall relationship with our grocery, convenience and liquor merchants on an ongoing basis
- Successful partnerships - be responsible for success of your account portfolio by growing merchant revenue, analysing data to make recommendations and inform key decisions, holding periodic business check-ins, making/implementing operations improvements, troubleshooting product-related bugs, recommending marketing strategies, and ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retention on the account as a whole.
