Job Responsibilities:
- Batch oil blends in lab for sample requests, sample submission batches, and formulation
- Submit samples to doTERRA analytical laboratories for physical, chemical and stability testing
- Organize laboratory operations, including recording inventory, ordering supplies, and waste management
- Test solubility and scale-up of unique natural raw materials
- Perform other responsibilities as directed
Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or current enrollment in chemistry, food science, nutrition, biology or related field required
- At least 1 year of laboratory experience required
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
- Ability to communicate and write effectively
- Excellent teamwork skills
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Self-starter with the ability to work with minimal supervision in identifying tasks that need to be completed
- Ability to smell and taste essential oils
- Ability to tolerate strong smells for extended periods of time
- Ability to stand and work in lab for multiple consecutive hours
