POSITION SUMMARY

The Laundry Attendant reports directly to the Assistant Housekeeping Manager. The Laundry Attendant is responsible for supporting the hotel’s day-to-day laundry and housekeeping operations by ensuring consistency in linen cleanliness, availability, and presentation to guests.

• Keep linens clean and ready: Handle all stages of linen processing, including collecting, sorting, washing, drying, ironing, folding, and delivering clean linens
• Maintain the laundry area: Keep laundry machines and work areas clean and in good working order
• Manage inventory: Monitor and maintain stock levels of linens and laundry supplies
• Support equipment and property maintenance: Identify and report any repair needs or maintenance deficiencies to ensure a well-kept property
• Ensure an orderly workspace: Keep all designated areas clean, neat, and organized, including assigned offices, desks, supply rooms, and storage carts to ensure efficient hotel operations
• Delight our guests: Respond courteously to guest requests, prepare requested items, and resolve laundry and housekeeping service requests promptly
• Handle special projects: Perform periodic deep cleaning tasks as needed or required by brand standards
